Here are the descriptions of the 24 games included in Solitaire Till Dawn 2.0.3. Each game is explained in its own chapter in this document. To read about a game, select it by name from the Chapter menu. Each game chapter has a picture, which you may see by selecting it from the Pictures menu.
Each game’s chapter begins with an introductory paragraph or two about the game: its history or its special delights. Following the introduction, the four sections Layout Size, Difficulty, Rules, and On the Screen describe the game in detail.
Layout Size tells you what size screen is recommended for the game. Any game can be played on any screen, but users with small screens may find that the scrolling gets tedious in large-layout games. Within this document, “small” means 9" or 12" screens; “medium” means 13" or 14" screens; and “large” means anything larger.
Difficulty gives you a hint about how hard you’ll have to think to play well, and how often you can expect to win if you do.
Rules explains the game’s layout and rules in detail. (If two games have very similar rules, they may be explained in a single chapter with separate Rules sections.)
On the Screen tells you anything special you need to know about playing the game on the computer.
If you are looking to learn a new game of a particular type, see the chapter About the Games.
If you are looking for a solitaire you already know, and you don’t see its name in the menu, see the Index in the last chapter of this document. Many of the games in Solitaire Till Dawn are known by more than one name; we have listed all the names we know of in the index.
